About Aloharmony
What is Aloharmony?
Aloharmony is a therapeutic music platform that combines scientifically-designed sound frequencies with original compositions by 4× Grammy winner Kike Santander. It's built to help you sleep better, focus deeper, manage anxiety, and transform your overall wellbeing — one session at a time.
How is this different from Spotify or Apple Music?
Regular music is created for entertainment. Every Aloharmony track is engineered to influence your brain state using specific therapeutic frequencies layered into the composition. When you listen to a Delta sleep track, your brain is being guided toward 0.5–4 Hz activity — that's the difference between music you enjoy and music that works.
Who created Aloharmony?
Aloharmony was founded by Kike Santander — a 4× Grammy Award winning composer and music producer — together with his co-founder Adriana Santander. The platform was built around Kike's proprietary MGS (Music Generated Synchronization) method, developed over decades of studying the intersection of music, neuroscience, and holistic therapy.
Is there scientific research behind the frequencies used?
Aloharmony uses binaural beats, isochronic tones, and Solfeggio frequencies — techniques studied in peer-reviewed neuroscience on brainwave entrainment, sleep, focus, and relaxation. Research published by institutions such as Harvard Medical School and the NIH examines those mechanisms in general; it informs how we compose, and is not an endorsement of Aloharmony by those institutions.
The Science
What are brainwave frequencies?
Your brain produces electrical activity at different frequencies depending on what you're doing. These are divided into five bands: Delta (deep sleep), Theta (creativity, subconscious), Alpha (calm focus, relaxation), Beta (active thinking, alertness), and Gamma (peak cognition). Aloharmony uses sound frequencies tuned to each band to guide your brain toward the state you want.
What is the MGS method?
MGS (Music Generated Synchronization) is Kike Santander's proprietary system for embedding therapeutic frequencies — binaural beats, isochronic tones, and Solfeggio frequencies — inside world-class musical compositions. Instead of listening to clinical tones, you experience fully produced music that works on your brain while being genuinely beautiful to hear.
What are binaural beats?
Binaural beats occur when you listen through headphones to two slightly different frequencies in each ear. Your brain perceives a third frequency — the difference between the two — and naturally synchronizes to it. For example, playing 200 Hz in the left ear and 208 Hz in the right ear creates an 8 Hz binaural beat, which corresponds to the Alpha frequency range associated with relaxed awareness.
Do I need headphones?
Headphones are recommended for the best therapeutic effect, especially for binaural beat content, which requires separate audio input in each ear. Isochronic tones and Solfeggio frequency content work without headphones, though the experience is richer with them.
How long does a session need to be to have an effect?
Research suggests brainwave entrainment begins taking effect within 6–10 minutes of consistent listening. Most Aloharmony tracks are 20–60 minutes long, which is the optimal window for sustained state change. Even shorter sessions of 15–20 minutes can shift your mental state noticeably if you listen with intention and minimal distractions.
