About the Founder

Kike
Santander

Four-time Grammy Award winning composer. Music producer for Carlos Vives, Gloria Estefan, Marc Anthony, and hundreds more. The person who spent decades asking what music could actually do to the human brain — and then built the platform to prove it.

The story

A Grammy winner who became obsessed with what music could heal

Kike Santander spent five decades crafting music that moved people. He won Grammy Awards, produced global hits, and built a career that most musicians only dream of. But throughout that career, something kept bothering him: the music was moving people emotionally, but why? And how much further could it go?

He began a parallel study of neuroscience — specifically the emerging research on brainwave entrainment, how specific frequencies could guide brain states, and why some music seemed to have physiological effects beyond the emotional. The research pointed in a clear direction.

The MGS method — Music Generated Synchronization — was the answer. A framework for embedding therapeutic frequencies inside compositions that were still, first and foremost, music. Not clinical. Not ambient. Music. The result was Aloharmony.

His greatest invention

The MGS method — Music Generated Synchronization

Most therapeutic frequency tools are clinical and unpleasant. Kike built a system that embeds therapeutic frequencies inside world-class compositions — music you want to hear, that also shifts your brain state. That's the MGS difference.

Common questions

About Kike & Aloharmony

What is the MGS method?

MGS (Music Generated Synchronization) is the proprietary framework Kike Santander developed for embedding therapeutic frequencies inside fully produced musical compositions. Unlike clinical tones or simple ambient noise, MGS tracks are genuine music — Grammy-caliber compositions that also happen to shift brainwave states. The result is a tool that people actually want to listen to, which dramatically improves adherence compared to clinical frequency tools.

What did Kike Santander study to develop this approach?

Kike spent decades studying how sound interacts with the human nervous system — combining his practical knowledge as a world-class composer and producer with peer-reviewed neuroscience research on brainwave entrainment, binaural beats, isochronic tones, and the neurological effects of specific frequencies. The MGS method is the synthesis of that study.

How is Aloharmony different from other therapeutic music apps?

Most therapeutic music apps use ambient noise or clinical sine waves — effective, but unpleasant. Kike's standard for every Aloharmony track is that it has to be music you want to hear, that also scientifically works on your brain. The MGS method is what makes that combination possible.

Has Kike Santander's music been used in clinical contexts?

Yes. Beyond the consumer app, MGS-method tracks have been used by holistic therapists, mindfulness practitioners, and wellness programs around the world. Aloharmony's for-therapists program makes the full library available to practitioners who want to incorporate therapeutic music into client sessions.

Who is Adriana Santander?

Adriana Santander co-founded Aloharmony alongside Kike. She leads the company's business strategy, product vision, and mission to make therapeutic music accessible to everyone. Under her leadership, Aloharmony has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of users globally.

Where can I learn more about the MGS method?
